Critical Infrastructure

Keep Texas Running When the Grid Fails.

The Texas Backup Power Package Program is making $1.8 billion available to critical facilities across the state. Sentinel handles everything — from eligibility assessment to installation — so your facility is protected and funded.

Eligible facilities must be under 2.5 MW and cannot be charter schools or commercial oil and gas operations. Over 30,000 Texas facilities are potentially eligible.

How It Works

We handle the entire process. Start to finish.

01

Eligibility Assessment

We evaluate your facility against TBPP criteria — size, classification, and current power setup — and confirm eligibility before any cost to you.

02

System Design

We design a TBPP-compliant system: solar + battery + generator configured for your facility's critical loads and the 48-hour minimum runtime requirement.

03

Grant Application

We act as your agent through the PUCT application process — handling all documentation, technical specs, and submissions for the grant and forgivable loan.

04

Installation & Commissioning

Full installation by our licensed team. Every system is engineered for 150 MPH+ wind loads and compliant with NFPA, IEEE, and NEC standards.

The PUCT proposed the final TBPP rule in December 2025. The final rule is expected spring/summer 2026, with applications opening late 2026. Now is the time to assess your facility and get positioned — not when the window opens.
