Enphase Energy - Micro Inverters

Sentinel Power Systems is proud to be the first supplier of Enphase Energy's new Micro Inverter Technology in Canada. The Enphase Microinverter shifts DC to AC conversion from a large, centralized inverter to a compact unit attached directly to each solar module in the power system. Distributing the conversion process to each module makes the entire solar power system more productive, reliable, and smarter than traditional inverter systems.

The Enphase Microinverter System consists of three components:

The Microinverter that attaches to the racking beneath each solar module and converts DC power to grid-compliant AC power.

The Envoy Communications Gateway (EMU) that collects and transmits performance information from each solar module to a proprietary website for use by the customer.

The Enlighten website where Sentinel Power customers can monitor and manage their solar power systems 24 hours a day.
